・In order to avoid contamination with impurities as much as possible, we only use virgin copper, which does not contain any recycled copper, even among JIS C1011 compliant copper.
- Peeling process removes 100% of impurities attached to the surface.
・In order to smooth the flow of electrical signals on the surface of the conductor, the wire is thinned using a natural diamond die to improve the surface smoothness of the wire.
・Thin wire with a processing accuracy of ±1 μm, which far exceeds the standard error tolerance of ±8 μm.

●Patented technology \“3E twist\” that twists strands of three different thicknesses
The 3E stranded structure is a concentric stranded wire conductor with a concentric strand arrangement, and the stranded wire arrangement is denser by arranging three different wire diameters. This makes it possible to reduce the diameter of the conductor configuration and improve conductor characteristic values. These three wires with different conductor diameters are arranged geometrically to minimize the gaps between the wires and improve the wire density. Furthermore, by downsizing the outer diameter of the stranded wire, it maintains a stable and highly accurate outer diameter, and the cross section after twisting is a perfect circle, making it a unique conductor structure in the world. This allows the insulator and conductor to adhere evenly, eliminating random thickness of the insulator and making it uniform. We strive to stabilize the electrical characteristics by always keeping the distance to the shield uniform.
●Traditional 2-core shield structure.
We have adopted a traditional 2-core shielded design with not only audiophiles but also professional use in mind. The two conductors arranged at a uniform pitch have an impedance of 120Ω, and can be used not only for analog signals but also for digital (AES/EBU) signals. Precision conductor 102SSC is also used for the shield, and a braided shield made of 24 pairs of 8 0.12mm wires achieves a braiding ratio of 80%.
●Halogen-free sheath exclusively for audio.
The audio-specific halogen-free sheath, which also clears the European RoHS Directive, has extremely high vibration damping properties due to the material composition ratio, enabling clear signal transmission. Furthermore, it exhibits excellent potential in electrical properties, suppressing the increase in dielectric constant in the bass range due to the exterior, and controlling the increase in attenuation. This reproduces a rich low range. The insulation material is polypropylene foam with a low dielectric constant. The excellent vibration damping and electrical properties of these sheath materials and insulating materials enable loss-free music playback. The sheath is marked \“PA-02 V2\”\“102SSC\”.
●RCA plug designed with compact outer diameter and length.
At Oyaide Electric, we consider terminal plugs to be cable components as well. The RCA plug designed exclusively for PA-02TR V2 has a compact outer diameter and length. Even devices with narrow terminals such as AV amplifiers can be connected smoothly. Brass that meets the European RoHS Directive is carefully processed using NC machining and plated with 24K gold. The center contact uses a pipe structure to ensure signal transmission area. The internal insulation material uses PTFE, which has a low dielectric constant, to reduce transmission loss. The outer shell is chrome plated, and the precisely carved knurling feels reminiscent of a camera lens. Everything about this RCA plug, from component procurement to precision processing, is done in Japan. Unwavering confidence in quality. The pride of being ``Made in Japan'' is alive and well here.
●Uses acoustic solder \”SS-47\”
The plug and cable are soldered using lead-free silver solder \"SS-47\" exclusively for audio. Ordinary solder has tin purity of around 99.9% (3N) due to cost considerations. \"SS-47\" further increases the purity and eliminates impurities to the utmost, and uses high purity tin of over 99.993% (4N). Additionally, silver and copper are added to improve conductivity and prevent solder from being eaten away. Moreover, in the case of normal alloy solder, the silver content is 3 to 3.5%, but \"SS-47\" contains a generous amount of 4.7%. Furthermore, it contains 1.7% copper, which has the second highest conductivity among metals after silver. With this compounding ratio, the conductivity improved dramatically and we succeeded in setting the eutectic point at 217 degrees. Of course, these compounding ratios were not determined solely based on numerical data and workability. We believe that sound quality should be given top priority in order to be labeled as audio solder. \”SS-47\” was created through numerous hearing tests of prototype models with various blending ratios.
