“DST-75R V2” is a 75Ω coaxial digital RCA cable that minimizes dielectric loss with the “Cordell structure”.

“Cordell structure” is an insulation method that is as close as possible to air insulation, which is the ideal form for high frequency transmission. It has a structure in which a PE string is wound in a spiral shape around the central conductor to support it and an air layer is created around the central conductor. The central conductor and braided shield use Oyaide Electric's “Precision Conductor 102SSC”. Oyaide Electric's attention to detail is incorporated everywhere, such as RCA plugs with silver + rhodium plating on the contact part, flexible PE sheath that combines electrical properties and flexibility, copper foil shield with 100% shielding rate, and double shielding with braided shield with 90% shielding rate.
As a high-cost-performance digital transmission cable, it fully demonstrates its performance in transmitting S/PDIF coaxial digital and composite video such as TV.

●Cordell structure:
The "DST-75R V2" is a refined model based on the original DST-75R, with the conductor changed from PCOCC-A to precision conductor 102SSC. The structure is inherited from the original DST-75R. In other words, it is a 75Ω coaxial cable that minimizes dielectric loss due to the insulator. Its greatest feature is the "Cordell structure". A polyethylene string is placed between the central conductor and the polyethylene tube, and an air layer is placed between the inclusions. This makes it an ultra-low-loss coaxial cable that minimizes dielectric loss due to the insulator.

●Precision conductor 102SSC:
The "DST-75R V2" uses precision conductor 102SSC for the central conductor and braided shield. In order to minimize the inclusion of impurities, the precision conductor 102SSC uses only virgin copper that does not contain any recycled copper, even among copper that complies with JIS C1011. 100% impurities attached to the surface are removed by peeling. In order to smooth the flow of electrical signals flowing on the surface of the conductor, the wire is thinned using a natural diamond die to improve the surface smoothness of the wire. The wire is thinned with a processing accuracy of ±1μm, which far exceeds the standard error tolerance of ±8μm. The world's first high-density, different-diameter conductor 3E twist structure is used in the twisting process (patented). The density and roundness of the wire are increased, and the electrical properties are stabilized. Two annealing processes are used to eliminate mechanical stress distortion of the wire. Thorough product management of manufacturing management values, maintenance, shipping days, etc. The conductivity achieves the highest class of 102.3% IACS.

● Carefully selected materials and shielding:
The DST-75R V2 uses Flex PE for the outer sheath, which combines electrical properties with flexibility. Shielding measures are also thorough. The DST-75R V2 has double shielding with a copper foil shield that boasts a 100% shielding rate and a braided shield that has a 90% shielding rate, providing strict protection for the signal conductor.

● Silver rhodium-plated RCA plug:
The DST-75R V2 uses silver rhodium plating for the contact part of the RCA plug. The main body and cover are made of high-precision cut brass, and are of course original designs and manufacturing by Oyaide Electric. The combination of high-quality RCA plugs and cables fully demonstrates their performance in transmitting S/PDIF 75Ω coaxial digital signals and composite video signals between video devices.

●Uses "SS-47" solder for audio:
The plug and cable are soldered with "SS-47", a lead-free silver solder for audio. For cost reasons, regular solder has a tin purity of about 99.9% (3N). "SS-47" uses high-purity tin of 99.993% (4N) or more, which is even more pure and eliminates impurities to the maximum extent possible. In addition, silver and copper are blended to improve conductivity and prevent solder from eroding. Moreover, while the silver blend ratio for regular alloy solder is 3-3.5%, "SS-47" generously uses a whopping 4.7%. In addition, 1.7% copper, which has the second highest conductivity among metals after silver, is blended. This blend ratio dramatically improves conductivity and successfully sets the eutectic point at 217 degrees. Of course, these blend ratios were not determined solely on numerical data and workability. We believe that sound quality should be the top priority when labeling a product as solder for audio. "SS-47" was born from numerous hearing tests of prototype models with various blend ratios.
