The MTS-6 II uses a very rigid 1.6 mm thick stainless steel chassis. The stainless steel used is non-magnetic austenitic SUS304. It also provides strong protection against not only vibration but also electromagnetic waves and noise.
Non-magnetic thick brass is used for the band fitting to support the receptacle. The structure of two baked washers has been changed from the conventional structure of two baked washers to a different material composite structure of one baked washer and one derlin washer to improve the damping effect, which is an important element of multi-tap.
The outlet face is custom-made in off-white color, giving it a look that fits elegantly in the near-field environment of the bookshelf speakers and in the home theater living room.
[Internal wiring with a lot of scrutiny]
As a result of testing all kinds of internal wiring and repeated auditioning, 2 mm oxygen-free copper single wire using polyolefin resin with low dielectric constant was adopted for the power wiring part. Precision conductor \"102 SSC\" copper wire was used as the ground wire, which is one of the key elements in determining sound.
Why did you use 102 SSC as a grounding wire that is often neglected as a factor that influences sound quality? Observing the importance of grounding in audio equipment, Oyade Electric was the first company to introduce Entreq, a virtual ground, and to release a sterling silver ground cable for use with turntables. The MTS-6 II also considers the grounding wire to be an important factor in determining sound quality, and has been carefully selected as part of its audio parts in both material and size.
The MTS-6 II uses the 14 AWG 3398-14 exclusively produced from the Oyaide 3398 Series, which is a wiring material that uses a generous \"102 SSC\" precision conductor.

The spike section uses a combination of different materials to prevent vibration = stainless steel made of SUS303, spikes + honey night washer, a combination of hard and soft materials to prevent resonance while suppressing vibration.
Normally, rubber feet are used to transmit vibration to the floor, but this product is equipped with stainless steel spikes made of the same material as the housing. In addition, it comes with a honey night washer with a reputation for vibration control. Suppresses vibration from the floor and vibration of the body, and reduces bleed caused by squealing from the housing.
[INS-BS Screw Set Fixable]
For MTB-4/MTB-6/MTS-6 II and OCB-1II series (Version 2012 or later), the INS-BS can be screwed and fixed.
Remove the brass spike (OSP-SC) from the MTB-4/MTB-6 and the stainless steel spike (OSP-SS) from the MTS-6 II before installing the INS-BS with M4 screws.
[Rhodium Plated Inlet]
The inlet uses NC174RR (IEC320 inlet) which is specially developed for our power strip. This inlet is made of buff brass with high conductivity pure silver thick plating (1.5μ) as a base, and is finished with 3 times the normal thickness of rhodium plating (0.3μ) and high quality 2 layer plating.
The outer material is made of heat-resistant reinforced resin mixed with glass powder to achieve high speed and smooth sound quality.
[Use Acoustic Solder \"SS -47\"]
The wiring is soldered using Oyaide Electric's original sound solder \"SS -47\." The purity of tin is about 99.9% (3 N) from a cost point of view for ordinary solders, but \"SS -47\" is even more pure, eliminating impurities to the limit, and uses a high purity tin of more than 99.993% (4 N).
It also contains silver and copper for the purpose of improving the conductivity and preventing the solder from being eaten. In ordinary alloy solder, the ratio of silver is 3 ~ 3.5%, but in \"SS -47\," 4.7% is generously added, and 1.7% of copper is contained, which is the second most conductive metal after silver. This blending ratio dramatically improves the conductivity, and we have succeeded in setting the eutectic point to 217 degrees.
