Analog records are the ultimate audio hobby and are still deeply and widely used around the world in the 21st century. The joy of analog playback lies in the ritual of setting the vinyl record on the player and dropping the cartridge, and the record stabilizer can be said to be a must-have item that plays a part in that ritual. Oyaide Electric released record stabilizers "STB-MS" and "STB-HW" in 2010.
In 2014, Oyaide's record stabilizer was further updated as "STB-MSX" and "STB-HWX. Carbon FRP is used on the top and bottom disc tops instead of the previous model Texarium. We have further improved the sound quality through excellent vibration processing of carbon FRP. Four types of composite materials are used to decentralize vibration modes: A5052 aluminum alloy that makes up the top and bottom discs, weights made of brass chrome plating, EPDM rubber weight spacers that convert vibration into thermal energy, and carbon FRP. Eliminate unnecessary vibrations that can interfere with playback. It brings out the dynamism of the music.
The features of the previous model, such as variable mass by attaching and detaching weights, sound quality tuning using the carbon FRP weight "STB-CM", and EP adapter functions, are inherited as is. “ The stylish appearance of STB-MSX and STB-HWX is carefully designed to fit comfortably in your hand, allowing you to reliably and safely place them on vinyl. The lineup includes the easy-to-use standard model "STB-MSX" and the heavy-weight model "STB-HWX", which can be used by a wide range of analog users.

It is possible to change the mass depending on the number of weights installed. You can do the best tuning that suits your feeling. Furthermore, the STB-MSX can be recombined into the optional carbon weight STB-CM, and can be installed as a hybrid with standard weights, further expanding the range of tuning.
The donut version includes the STB-MSX / STB-HWX top disc facing down. The EP adapter part of π38.1 fits into the hole in the donut board and functions as an EP stabilizer. The EP adapter part has a subtle taper towards the top, and follows the variations in pore size of the donut board. Just fits all donut discs. Records other than donut discs (EP, SP, etc...) Set the top disc of STB-MSX /STB-HWX upwards on the disc.
