The acoustic solder \”SS-47\” uses high-purity 4N (99.993% or more) tin, which eliminates impurities to the utmost, as the base tin. In order to improve conductivity, pure silver was generously introduced. In fact, the amount is 4.7%, which is unprecedented. Furthermore, in order to make eutectic solder, it contains 1.7% copper, which has the second highest conductivity among metals after silver.

Normal solder has a tin purity of about 99.9%(3N) due to cost considerations. \“SS-47\” further increases purity, eliminates impurities to the utmost, and adopts high-purity tin of 99.993%(4N) or higher.
It also contains silver and copper to improve conductivity and prevent solder from being eaten. Moreover, in the case of regular alloy solder, the silver blending ratio is 3〜3.5%, but \”SS-47\” generously adds a whopping 4.7.
Furthermore, it contains 1.7% copper, which has the second highest conductivity among metals after silver. This combination ratio dramatically improved conductivity and succeeded in setting the eutectic point to 217 degrees.
