After repeated listening tests, Oyaide's Y rug has a design that deserves to be called a masterpiece, with every detail.
The base material is a purely domestic copper alloy that does not contain lead or iron and is RoHS compliant. The tip is rolled from a round rod with a diameter of 15 mm, and punched and bent using a special SPSL mold. Furthermore, its shape shows the uniqueness of OYAIDE. The tip insertion part has a two-stage shape of 6mm to 8mm to fit a wide range of speaker terminals. The maximum applicable cable diameter is set to 5.5sq, and the cable joint with a diameter of 4mm is seat-rolled using NCN machining to complete the shape that forms the basis of the SPSL. Furthermore, in order to remove stress distortion caused by machining, heat treatment is applied over time using a low-temperature furnace. The cable connection method uses dual screw locking, similar to SRBN. A screw with a diameter of 5mm is used for the cable insertion diameter (4mm). This allows the cable conductor to be connected in perfect shape when using stranded wire. The material of the screw is stainless steel, which is quenched to fix the blue color and make the beauty of \”SPSL\” stand out even more. We also do not neglect product finishing, that is, plating. The main body is carefully buffed and mirrored by hand. The perfectly polished body is finished with a 2-layer plating of sterling silver + platinum. This original two-layer plating not only creates a sound but also \”SPSL\” creates a high-quality and elegant atmosphere. \”SPSL\” is an extreme spade lag that achieves HI-FI sound and easy installation.
