●conductor：
The center conductor uses 5N (99.9995%) pure silver, the most conductive metal. In addition, no compromises were made in the production process, and continuous casting using a high-frequency electric furnace, cold rolling in 19 steps, annealing twice, drawing with diamond dies, skin pass treatment, etc. were performed to ensure the purity of the silver. We used high-quality "silver wire" that not only has a high quality, but also has no gaps at grain boundaries.
●semiconductor layer：
When a signal flows through a cable, weak vibrations are generated, and the vibrations cause corona discharge of materials that are electrostatically charged. Therefore, by providing a semiconductor layer around the outer periphery of the insulating layer, it promotes the release of static electricity without affecting the conductor.
●insulator：
The insulator uses PFA, which has the lowest dielectric constant among insulators. Furthermore, a composite structure with FPE (foamed polyethylene) is adopted for the purpose of vibration diffusion. We have taken every possible measure to prevent vibration as well as electrical characteristics.
●exterior：
The exterior is simply made of reinforced fiber sleeves, which do not like the coloring of the material, and has been treated to prevent static electricity from being charged due to friction.
●2 layer shield：
In order to strengthen against low frequency noise, we combined copper tape + tinned copper braid, but "FTVS-510" also strengthens against high frequency noise and uses silver plated copper braid with high frequency characteristics (95%) was used.
●sterling silver center pin connector：
At Oyaide Electric, terminal plugs are also considered cable components. Not only does it increase the conductivity of the cable, but the contacts on the plug must also increase the conductivity, so it cannot be called truly exclusive. By adopting the sterling silver contact connector SLSC/SLSB, we achieve perfect sterling silver transmission.
●Uses acoustic solder\”SS-47\”：
To solder the wiring, we use Oyaide Electric's original acoustic solder\”SS-47\”. Normal solder has a tin purity of about 99.9% (3N)) due to cost considerations. \”SS-47\” further increases purity and eliminates impurities to the utmost, and adopts high-purity tin of 99.993%(4N) or higher. It also contains silver and copper to improve conductivity and prevent solder from being eaten. Moreover, in the case of regular alloy solder, the silver blending ratio is 3〜3.5%, but \”SS-47\” generously adds a whopping 4.7. Furthermore, it contains 1.7% copper, which has the second highest conductivity among metals after silver. This combination ratio dramatically improved conductivity and succeeded in setting the eutectic point to 217 degrees.
Of course, these blending ratios were not determined solely by numerical data and workability. In order to call it an audio solder, we believe that sound quality should be given top priority. \”SS-47\” was created by numerous hearing tests of proto-models with various blending ratios.
