The first generation ACROSS series was introduced in 2006 with a revolutionary cross-insulated structure "C.I.S" structure using an air layer as a damper. The outstanding performance was recognized by all, and the series shipped more than 100,000 meters of cable from the core of Oyaide Electric. However, production of the first ACROSS series was completed in 2013 due to the termination of the PCOCC-A conductor. After many difficulties, we created "Precision Conductor 102SSC" to replace PCOCC-A and commercialized the new ACROSS series using this conductor. Now the only remaining speaker cable "ACROSS 2000" in the ACROSS series has been upgraded to "ACROSS 3000" by "Precision Conductor 102SSC."
"ACROSS 300" introduces precision conductor "102SSC" and patented technology "3E twist" of Misu Electric Wire. The basic structures such as the C.I.S structure and the core twin conductor were inherited as they were in the first generation, while the conductor cross section was upgraded by 1.5 times compared to the ACROSS 2000 (2.0sq⇒30. sq). This greatly reduces the conductor resistance (0.84 Ω⇒0.63 Ω/100 m). Further improvements in transmission capacity have been achieved.
