●Solderless plug SLP-240L:
NEO Original Solderless Plug SLP-240S/L is a unique solderless plug that combines high performance, high strength, and durability with NEO's unique Dual Clawed Locking System.
Each and every part is carefully carved from a single brass bar using a diamond grinder and functions without any waste. Pass the cover through the cable and insert it into the main unit to connect it to the center pin terminal. Then, by tightening the cover and fixing it with two spanners, the claw-shaped contacts and flange on the main body are tightened, and the two claws dig into the cable's outer sheath, making the shield conductive.
Furthermore, the cable is firmly held by the thread cut inside the flange part, and is firmly fixed.
●How to make a solderless cable:
1. Cut the solderless plug dedicated cable SLD-ZERO to the desired length.
2. Pass the cable through the cover and firmly insert it into the main unit.
3. Tighten and secure the cover and main unit using two spanners (SP-10).
4. It will be completed.
[Precautions when using]
If you want to reuse it, place your finger on the claw part of the main unit, hold the cable, and gradually spread it out. Once the cable has spread out enough to be pulled out easily, pull it out. Since it is a brass part, if you try to spread it out with force, the flange may break and you may not be able to reuse it.
Be sure to use two spanners, and be careful not to hold the L-type plug body when fixing it.
●Solderless plug dedicated cable SLD-ZERO:
"SLD-ZERO" is a cable designed exclusively for NEO original solderless plugs. Precision conductor 102 SSC is used for the center conductor. Adopts a conductor diameter of AWG20 (0.56sq) and a braided shield made of 102 SSC with a high density of over 90%.
By using a uniquely formulated PVC with moderate hardness for the insulator, and PVC containing carbon for the outer sheath, the center conductor is firmly connected to the plug, and the shield is secured by tightening the plug cover. It promises reliable continuity and strong cable fixation, achieving high strength and durability.
