Like the MP-220, the MP-240 uses two dynamic drivers for each ear, but uses a hybrid system to play more delicate sounds. A balanced armature driver is used for high-frequency playback, and a dynamic driver is used for low-frequency playback. Equipped with a precisely designed crossover to provide highly clear sound.

The MP-240 uses a different type of driver and is designed as a hybrid type to achieve both clear sound with high clarity and powerful sound in the low range.
