The electrodes are insulated with nylon and glass fiber mixed with vibration-damping carbon powder to effectively absorb electromagnetic vibrations.
The "ground jumper" is provided to improve sound quality by eliminating the potential difference between the housing and the mounting screw of the electrode, thereby suppressing disturbed electromagnetic unwanted emissions generated from the connection between the blade and the conductor inside the plug.
